Crab Stablespoon Jacques Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c of butter (or margarine)
2 Tbsps of flour
1/2 tsp of salt
1 c of cream (light)
1/2 lb of sliced mushrooms
1 pc of onion (medium); chopped finely
2 Tbsps of parsley
8 oz or 1 lb of crabmeat (lump, fresh or frozen)
3 Tbsps of sherry
Instructions:
Combine salt with quarter cup of flour inside a saucepan. Cook above moderate heat till smooth and thick, while constantly stirring.
Saute onion, parsley, mushrooms, and remaining butter on another saucepan. Add sherry along with crabmeat then toss till mixed well.
Add the mixture of cream; mix thoroughly. Spoon onto ramekins or shells. Broil till bubbly.
