Garlic Rum Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients:
3 lbs of shrimp (large); shelled then deveined
Salt (to taste)
Hot sauce (Tabasco, to taste)
1/2 c of rum (light)
Juice from 1 pc of lime
1 Tbsp of Worcestershire
1/2 tsp of cumin (ground)
1/4 c of butter (unsalted)
1/2 c of oil (Spanish olive oil)
5 pcs of garlic cloves; chopped
1/4 c of breadcrumbs
2 Tbsps of parsley (fresh); chopped
Instructions:
Season Tabasco and salt on the shrimp inside a bowl. Combine (lime) juice, rum, cumin, and Worcestershire inside a bowl; add seasoned shrimp and blend well. Place inside the refrigerator and let it marinate for one hour.
Combine oil and butter inside a saucepan above heat. Once butter has melted, add the garlic and saute for two mins; set on the side. Transfer the shrimp along with its marinade on a baking dish. Place garlic mixture and crumbs on top.
Broil for 10 mins. Serve at once and garnish parsley.
