Lump Crab Meat and Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c of butter (unsalted)
1 Tbsp of flour
1 c of cream (whipping)
1/4 c of wine (sherry)
2 Tbsps of Worcestershire
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (red, to taste)
Celery (to taste); chopped
Parsley (to taste); chopped
1 c of mayonnaise
1 lb of crabmeat (lump)
1/2 lb of shrimp; peeled, deveined, then cooked
Crushed potato chips
Grated cheese (Cheddar)
Instructions:
Melt the butter inside the saucepan then add flour and stir constantly till smooth. Slowly add the cream then add sherry, Worcestershire, salt, red pepper, celery, and parsley; cook gently till thick.
Let it cool then add the mayonnaise; stir thoroughly. Add shrimp and crabmeat onto sauce then spoon onto buttered baking dish or casserole. Sprinkle over cheese and crushed chips. Bake (325 degrees F) for 25 mins.
