Panfried Oysters Recipe
Ingredients:
3 dozens of shucked small oysters (fresh)
1 c of ground soda-crackers
1/3 c of flour
2 large egg
3 Tbsps of veggie oil
6 Tbsps of butter
Instructions:
Have oysters drained then you blot them on paper-towels. You place the crumbs & flour in separate waxpaper sheets.
You slightly beat the eggs. Dredge your oysters into flour then dip onto eggs, into crumbs then press lightly. Arrange on bake sheet lined w/ waxpaper.
You heat about 2 Tbsps butter & 1 Tbsp oil in large-sized thick skillet placed over mid-heat ’til butter melts. You add 1/3 oysters & then saute about 2 mins ’til golden-brown, turn then saute for additional 2 mins.
Transfer into tray lined w/ paper towels. You empty the skillet , wiping it clean. You repeat the frying by batches.
