Shrimp-Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe
Ingredients:
6 large-sized bellpeppers
3 garlic cloves; minced
2 minced onions
4 Tbsps of veggie oil
1 tsp of celery; minced
1/2 lb of shrimps; shelled & cleaned
1/2 tsp of pepper (black)
1 tsp of Worcestershire-sauce
1 bayleaf
1 tsp of salt
8-10 toast sliced
A pinch thyme
1 large egg
Butter
Breadcrumbs
Instructions:
Split the peppers, have them cleaned & trimmed. Boil them for 3 mins then remove them form the water & cool. Finely chop & set the trimmings aside.
Place garlic & onions in oil, cook ’til browned. You add the trimmings in. Have the shrimps finely cut then add into garlic & onions. Add seasoning & celery then cook about 10 mins.
Have toast moistened. Combine shrimp-mixture & onions then stir egg in. Continue cooking for 5 more mins. You stuff the halved peppers then lay them flat into prepared pan.
Generously sprinkle w/ breadcrumbs then dot w/ softened butter. Have dish baked for about 20 mins at four hundred degrees Fahrenheit.
